A final suggestion for cottage accommodation is Osprey House (Weymouth, DT4) which is a lovely house that is located between Weymouth and Portland and provides guests with some lovely views stretching out over the harbour.

Just over 200 yards from the house is the South West Coastal Path that you can walk along and enjoy lots of beautiful scenery from this truly magical part of Dorset. A 30 minute walk from the cottage will take you to the main beach and town of Weymouth.

This property has 2 bedrooms located on the 1st floor of the house – 1 double and 1 twin room, both of which are nicely decorated and furnished. Both rooms have lots of natural light and are very comfortable. The toilet and shower room are also on the 1st floor of the property.

On the ground floor you will find the kitchen and dining / living room. The conservatory / dining area on the ground floor is a great feature of the house and is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or your morning tea or coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with fridge, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and all the utensils and cutlery you’ll need when you stay here.

The enclosed patio and deck area is furnished, so when the weather is good, you can enjoy a seat outside and soak up a few sun rays. The house has gas central heating and a parking space for a single vehicle.

The cottages that you can find in Weymouth that offer accommodation vary from the very traditional to more modern. Each has it’s own unique elements and benefits, and all will be comfortable and cosy. Finding a good holiday cottage to rent in Weymouth is not as difficult as you might imagine. If you are looking for a slightly different holiday experience then you really should consider staying in one of the many cottages you will come across there.
